Snowflake Paper Scultures

Materials:
- One inch white paper strips
- Gluesticks
- String to Hang (optional)

Instead of my traditional paper sculptures I do, I thought we would change it up a bit and make some snowflakes.

1. I showed my students to start every strip with gluing the ends to make a circle. Cutting the strips shorter makes smaller circles, one pinch makes a tear drop, and two pinches make a football.

2. Glue two pieces together, press and hold and count to 7!

I did these with my Kinders. As you can see, they had a hard time grasping the radial symmetry aspect, but they did like building!
